Melihat Akftivitas Login di GMAIL

Salah satu penyedia layanan e-mail gratis yang cukup terkenal yaitu Google Mail (GMail). Saya sendiri cukup lama menggunakan layanan e-mail gratis dari google ini. Beberapa hari yang lalu,tanpa saya sadari account saya terkena aksi scammer. Tanpa sepengetahuan saya,ada kiriman e-mail ke salah satu rekan kerja saya dengan memakai account saya.
Saya baru menyadari setelah dapat balasan e-mail dari rekan kerja tersebut sampai 3x dengan isi yang sama. Dan atas saran beliau saya disarankan untuk segera mengganti password account saya.
Untuk melihat aktifitas login ke account kita, rekan-rekan bisa melakukan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut :
1. Login ke account Anda di Gmail.
2. Scroll kebawah lalu cari bagian "Last activity...." seperti gambar berikut :

3.  Klik "Details" lalu sebuah jendela pop-up terbuka dan menampilkan :
     - jenis akses seperti browser, POP3 dll
     - Alamat IP dan Tanggal/waktu Login

  Dari log aktifitas Login tersebut, jika ada yang mencurigakan segera ganti password account gmail Anda.
     - jenis akses seperti browser, POP3 dll
     - Alamat IP dan Tanggal/waktu Login

Windows + ↑ (Up Arrow) – Maximize window

Windows + ← (Left Arrow) – Snap window to left side covering half of desktop space. Continue pressing the keyboard shortcut will rotate the window between snap to left, snap to right and restore to normal position.

Windows + → (Right Arrow) – Snap window to right side covering half of desktop space. Continue pressing the keyboard shortcut will rotate the window between snap to left, snap to right and restore to normal position.

Windows + ↓ (Down Arrow) – Minimize the window. Restore to normal size and position if the window is currently maximized.

Windows + Home – Clear all but the active window.

Menggabungkan PCMAV dengan CLAMAV

Setelah membaca permasalahan dari rekan-rekan yang kesulitan menggabung/mengkombinasikan PCMAV dengan Clamav, maka saya tertarik untuk berbagi pengalaman bagaimana cara menggabung kedua engine antivirus tersebut. Artikel ini saya buat se-simple mungkin untuk menghindari kebingungan dari rekan-rekan yang belum pernah melakukannya.

Sebelum memulai, pastikan file-file pendukung berikut ini anda miliki agar proses "MERGER" berhasil :)
1. File library MSVCRT80, Klik disini
2. File library ClamAV, Klik disini
3. File main.cvd, Klik disini
4. File daily.cvd, Klik disini

Okay, setelah semua file pendukung tersebut didownload kita akan menggabung kedua engine tersebut step by step :
1. Setelah diekstrak file PCMAV (dalam hal ini saya contohkan PCMAV versi 2.2a diekstrak ke folder C:\download\PCMAV2.2a) akan terdapat 2 (dua) folder yaitu \Lib dan \vdb

2. Melalui windows explorer,klik folder C:\download\PCMAV2.2a lalu klik kanan diarea kosong akan muncul menu pilih New - Folder. Lalu beri nama folder baru tersebut dengan nama plugins.

3. Setelah folder plugins kita buat, langkah selanjutnya adalah membuat folder clamav di dalam folder plugins. Double klik folder plugins, lalu klik kanan area kosong pilih New - Folder dan beri nama clamav.

4.  Sampai tahap ini tidak mengalami kesulitan kan? Saya yakin rekan-rekan tidak mengalami kesulitan. Selanjutnya adalah mengekstrak file library MSVCRT80 dan library ClamAV yang telah kita download sebelumnya (termasuk juga  database virus milik clamav yaitu main.cvd dan daily.cvd) ke dalam folder \plugins\clamav.  Sehingga di dalam folder \plugins\clamav akan terdapat file-file seperti gambar berikut ini :

Tahap penggabungan engine pcmav dengan clamAV sudah selesai. Untuk database clamav (main.cvd dan daily.cvd) sebenarnya pcmav akan melakukan pengecekan secara otomatis saat kita jalankan dan kita sedang terhubung dengan internet.

 Okay, mudahkan? Ayo buat rekan-rekan yang masih kesulitan jangan menyerah, pasti bisa. :)

Office Tab v1.22

Aplikasi yang satu ini, digunakan untuk membuat office Tab seperti di Firefox. Hal ini akan mempermudah kerja kita saat bekerja dengan beberapa dokumen sekaligus. Aplikasi ini saya coba di Office 2007 berjalan lancar, setelah instal tutup semua aplikasi office lalu jalankan lagi officenya. Oke, langsung saja di download trus instal, maka efeknya akan seperti screen shoot berikut ini:

Sudah banyak teman-teman blogger senior yang membahas bagaimana caranya membuat related post with thumbnail. Dari beberapa tutorial yang saya coba hasilnya kurang memuaskan/gagal. Bahkan related post yang saya coba terjadi duplikasi hingga 5 kali (maklum, saya buta sama sekali dengan bahasa html.. he...hee..). Setelah coba sana-sini nggak ada yang berhasil, akhirnya saya temukan solusi mudah yaitu memakai Linkwithin.
Tatacara bagaimana menggunakan widget related post with thumbnail dari linkwithin tidak akan saya bahas, karena sangat simple sekali dan sudah banyak juga blogger senior yang membahasnya. Jadi kali ini saya akan memberikan triks bagaimana menghilangkan thumbnail dan mengganti teks You might also like sesuai yang kita inginkan. :)
Okay yang pertama : untuk menghilangkan thumbnail, letakkan script berikut ini setelah tag <body> :

1</script>

yang kedua untuk mengganti You might also like letakkan juga script berikut ini setelah tag <body> :

<script>linkwithin_text='Your Custom Text:'</script>

Lalu Save. 

Perlu diketahui juga bahwa script di atas saya peroleh setelah konsultasi via e-mail dengan LILIYA dari Linkwithin.

Tips aman berkomputer dari serangan virus

Seperti postingan saya sebelumnya masalah virus cleaner, kali saya ingin berbagi tips agar komputer kita tidak mudah terserang virus. Pemahaman spt saya, yang awam masalah komputer dulu berpikir bahwa dengan memasang antivirus komputer kita aman dari serangan virus. Iya kan? :)
Pemikiran tersebut tidak sepenuhnya salah, paling tidak dengan memasang "SATPAM" komputer kita akan ada yang memantau aktivitas program komputer. Tetapi pemikiran tersebut harus lebih dikembangkan lagi, "Sebagus-bagusnya antivirus/yang paling terkenal sekalipun + Update" terbaru bukan jaminan bahwa komputer kita telah aman dari virus/spyware/malware dll. Karena biasanya si pembuat virus akan terus mengembangkan kemampuan virus buatannya ketika Si Antivirus mengenalinya.
Oleh karena itu ada hal-hal yang perlu diperhatikan,untuk menjaga komputer kita dari serangan virus :
*) Update yang rutin database virus (virus definition). Saat ini hampir semua pembuat antivirus me-release paket virus definition terbaru setiap minggu, diluar update harian yang bisa dilakukan secara otomatis saat kita terkoneksi dengan internet.
*) Matikan proses AUTORUN. Cara termudah untuk melakukan ini bisa baca artikel saya sebelumnya tentang Panda USB Vaccine
*) Perhatikan ekstensi file saat kita akan menjalankan file tersebut. Karena virus sekarang banyak yang menyamarkan dirinya dengan menggunakan icon aplikasi yang umum seperti *.doc , *.xls, *.jpg. Saat kita jalankan data tersebut ternyata file virus yang dieksekusi.
*) Jangan begitu saja mencolokkan flashdisk ke komputer,apalagi riwayat pemakaian flashdisk tersebut kita tidak tahu. Karena selain lewat internet, penyebaran virus via flashdisk cukup dominan.

Trik mempercepat koneksi internet SMART

Semakin bertambahnya pengguna SMART, membuat koneksi internet tambah lemot saja. Saya coba-coba cari informasi mungkin ada trik untuk menyiasati kondisi ini. Akhirnya dapat juga, mungkin pengguna smart bisa coba trik di bawah ini.
Salah satu trik yang saya dapatkan ini menyarakan untuk mencoba menggunakan DNS service lokal made in Indonesia. DNS service ini beralamatkan di http://nawala.org

Berikut step by step cara menggunakan DNS Nawala di Smart (versi windows) :
1. Buka control panel > Network Connections.
2. Pilih koneksi smart yang sudah kita buat dan pilih properties
3. Pilih tab networking, pilih item “Internet Protokol (TCP/IP).
4. Di bagian DNS, pilih “use the following DNS Server Addressess”, dan masukkan 2 nilai ini : 203.34.118.12 dan 203.34.118.10
5. Klik OK dan silahkan dicoba. Rasakan perubahannya
