Internet Explorer 9

Meskipun saya sendiri jarang memakai IE untuk browsing, tapi saya akan menulis tentang fitur keamanan yang ditambahkan pada browser versi teranyar besutan Microsoft. Beberapa fitur keamanan yang ditambahkan diantaranya :

1. Tracking Protection
Dengan fitur ini, kita bisa mengatur situs-situs mana saja yang diijinkan untuk menerima informasi tentang aktifitas kita saat online.
2. SmartScreen Filter
Didalamnya telah diintegrasikan dengan kemampuan antiphising protection, anti malware dan application reputation yang memberikan peringatan saat kita mendownload data dari internet. Application reputation ini akan menampilkan penilaian berdasarkan author-nya, berapa kali telah didownload.
3. Browser Segregation
Dengan diintegrasikannya IE9 dengan windows 7, Anda bisa membuat pin terhadap situs-situs favorit. Adanya fitur Browser Segregation ini, masing-masing "cookies session" akan berdiri sendiri dan tidak bisa diakses oleh tab/windows browser yang lain.
4. Stripped Down
Dengan fungsi "Pin site" yang yang terintegrasi di windows 7, browser tidak akan mengaktifkan "add-on toolbars" yang mungkin terinstal di browser desktop. Hal ini akan meminimalkan kemungkinan terjadinya "malicious exploits attack".
